DUBAI – Dubai is set to welcome a wave of summer travellers with a fresh series of incentives introduced by Emirates.

The airline is positioning the city as a leading stopover and holiday destination by combining premium hospitality, curated experiences and added travel flexibility. Passengers flying to or through Dubai will be able to access complimentary hotel stays, discounted attractions and personalised itineraries designed to maximise short and long visits.

The campaign comes at a time when Dubai continues to strengthen its global tourism appeal, offering indoor entertainment, cultural attractions and family-friendly leisure across the summer months. From iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa to immersive theme parks and climate-controlled museums, the city is being promoted as a destination that remains active regardless of seasonal heat. The initiative is also aligned with major seasonal events such as Dubai Summer Surprises, which returns in 2026 with an expanded programme of entertainment, retail promotions and live experiences.

Luxury stay

As part of the summer campaign, Emirates is offering a complimentary stay at the five-star JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, located in the heart of the city. The offer is designed to encourage travellers to extend stopovers into short city breaks or upgrade their holiday experience with added comfort and convenience.

Between 22 June and 12 July, passengers purchasing return tickets to or via Dubai can benefit from the promotion. First Class and Business Class travellers are eligible for a two-night stay, while Premium Economy and Economy Class passengers can receive a one-night complimentary stay. The offer applies to return journeys or stopovers exceeding 24 hours, with travel valid between 25 June and 30 September.

Guests staying at the hotel can access award-winning dining venues, wellness facilities including the Saray Spa, and fitness spaces such as BodyBase. The property also offers outdoor pool access with views of the Dubai skyline, positioning it as a central base for exploring the city.

Stopover value

Beyond accommodation, Emirates is expanding its stopover value proposition through its digital planning platform, Dubai Experience. The service allows travellers from selected markets to build personalised 24- and 48-hour itineraries, enabling structured short stays that highlight key attractions and experiences across Dubai.

The platform is designed to streamline trip planning, offering curated routes that include shopping districts, cultural landmarks, dining destinations and entertainment zones. This approach supports both transit passengers and visitors seeking short urban breaks, with a focus on convenience and time optimisation.

Seasonal savings

A major feature of the summer campaign is the return of My Emirates Pass, which offers more than 600 deals across Dubai. Passengers can access discounts at spas, restaurants, retail outlets and leisure venues simply by presenting their boarding pass along with valid identification, either in physical or digital form.

The pass is designed to transform a flight ticket into a city-wide savings tool, encouraging visitors to explore a wider range of experiences. From luxury dining to family attractions, the offers span multiple categories and are available throughout the summer period.

Travel flexibility

Emirates is also reinforcing booking confidence with enhanced travel protections and flexible options. All bookings made after 2 April 2026 include one complimentary date change across all cabin classes, allowing passengers greater control over travel plans during peak summer months.

Additional features include Hold My Fare, which enables customers to lock in ticket prices while finalising arrangements, and an expanded travel insurance product offering broader coverage for selected markets. The airline currently operates flights to more than 138 destinations globally, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a central international hub.
