DUBAI – Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Hotel is bringing back its celebrated Football Escapes programme, giving young players an extraordinary chance to train alongside football legends.
This October, the hotel hosts exclusive camps featuring Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, and Michael Dawson, offering a school holiday experience unlike any other.
Participants will enjoy expert coaching, interactive sessions, and memorable family-friendly activities across the hotel’s picturesque beachfront setting.
Legendary coaching
From Monday 20 to Friday 24 October, Wayne Rooney and Michael Dawson will lead aspiring footballers through two hours of daily training, helping them refine their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
The following week, Monday 27 to Friday 31 October, Michael Owen takes centre stage to enhance penalty shooting techniques and tactical awareness.
The camps welcome children aged five to 15 of all skill levels, ensuring every participant benefits from tailored coaching.
Family matches
A standout feature of Football Escapes is the special parent match, scheduled for Wednesday 22 October and Wednesday 29 October.
Families will get the unique opportunity to share the pitch with legendary football stars, creating lasting memories.
Each participant also receives a personalised training kit, a signed shirt, and a video message from the camp ambassador, concluding the programme with a custom medal to celebrate their achievements.
Dynamic setting
The outdoor venue, Janat Al Bahar, offers a vibrant and engaging environment for skill development under the guidance of UEFA-licensed coaches. Beyond football, the hotel enhances the experience with its KiDS Club, five swimming pools, and unlimited access to Wild Wadi Waterpark, providing a complete family-friendly retreat.
