DUBAI – Dubai’s boldest Mexican cantina, Muchachas, is celebrating its ninth anniversary with a fiesta unlike any other.
This Friday, 29th August, the lively venue at Holiday Inn Express, Al Safa, will transform into a one-night celebration of Latin beats, vibrant flavours, and festive energy.
Guests can expect an immersive evening filled with music, chef-driven dishes, and plenty of surprises.
Fiesta highlights
The anniversary event promises a multi-sensory celebration. A live Latin duo will set the tone with upbeat rhythms while the buffet spread offers a feast of Muchachas’ favourites. Signature dishes include Picadillo Beef, Chicken Fajitas, Pescado a la Talla, Roasted Lamb, and pass-around tacos. Complementing the mains are cold salads, soups, ceviche, spicy wings, red rice, and black beans. The evening ends on a sweet note with Muchachas’ signature desserts – churros and pastel tres leches – alongside a Mexican tart surprise.
Adding to the fun, a piñata will bring playful spirit to the evening, ensuring the celebration captures the essence of a true Mexican fiesta.

The chef’s journey
Helming the kitchen is Chef Paris Rodriguez, whose journey from American football athlete to culinary visionary adds an inspiring edge to the Muchachas story. Born in Mexico City, Rodriguez has explored more than 15 Mexican states and spent over two decades honing his craft. His cooking fuses deep cultural roots with modern flair, ensuring every plate reflects Mexico’s rich gastronomic heritage.
