DUBAI is set to welcome 2026 with citywide New Year’s Eve celebrations, as fireworks, light projections and live entertainment illuminate landmarks across the emirate on 31st December.
From record-breaking towers and historic creekside districts to beachfront promenades and purpose-built family destinations, the city offers an unmatched variety of viewing locations for residents, tourists and visitors alike.
Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai
Downtown Dubai remains the focal point of New Year’s Eve, led by Burj Khalifa’s globally renowned midnight spectacle. The world’s tallest building hosts a synchronised display of fireworks, laser projections and LED visuals, timed with choreographed performances from The Dubai Fountain below.
Public viewing areas along Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard and surrounding promenades welcome thousands, supported by large LED screens to ensure visibility from multiple zones. Restaurants at Dubai Mall, Souk Al Bahar and along the boulevard offer premium vantage points with pre-booked dining packages.
Burj Park, located on an island within Burj Lake, hosts a ticketed New Year’s Eve experience for families, featuring live stage performances, aerial displays and large-scale visual effects. For 2025-26, the programme includes Bollywood-themed entertainment. Tickets are priced at Dh997.50 for adults and Dh577.50 for children aged five to 12, while children under five can enter free with a pre-booked access badge. Gates open at midday, with food trucks, workshops and family activities available throughout the day.
Al Seef and Dubai Creek
Al Seef offers a contrasting New Year’s Eve atmosphere, blending heritage architecture with waterfront views along Dubai Creek. Fireworks light up the historic waterway at midnight, reflected against traditional dhows and restored façades inspired by old Dubai.
Visitors can watch from the open promenades or book waterfront dining at venues such as Skafos or Emirati favourite Al Fanar, which serve curated New Year’s Eve menus alongside uninterrupted views of the creekside celebrations.
Atlantis, The Palm and Palm Jumeirah
Atlantis, The Palm remains one of Dubai’s most iconic New Year’s Eve destinations, staging a large-scale fireworks display visible across Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf. The resort hosts its annual gala dinner, featuring a live performance by Maroon 5, alongside dining experiences across its restaurants and lounges.
The Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk provides additional public viewing spots, allowing visitors to enjoy the fireworks against the backdrop of the crescent and Dubai’s skyline.

Ain Dubai hosts a limited-capacity New Year’s Eve experience, lifting guests 250 metres above the city for panoramic views of midnight fireworks across Dubai. Tickets start from Dh315 for Standard or View cabins and Dh695 for Premium cabins, both including food and beverages during the experience.
Yachting and marine viewpoints
For a floating perspective, yacht operators such as Xclusive, Seven Yachts and Lotus Mega Yacht offer New Year’s Eve cruises timed for midnight fireworks. Packages typically include gourmet dining, live entertainment and routes passing major celebration zones.

Expo City Dubai
Expo City Dubai welcomes 2026 with celebrations centred around Al Wasl Plaza on 31 December. Designed with families in mind, the evening begins with an early countdown at 9pm, featuring a confetti blast, children’s music and large-scale projections across the Al Wasl Dome, followed by midnight festivities as the New Year begins.
