DUBAI – The UAE Lottery has announced the final Lucky Day draw under its current format, giving participants one last chance to compete for the Dh100 million Grand Prize.

Ticket sales for the draw will close on Saturday, 29 November, ahead of the scheduled event at 8:30 PM.

The moment also marks the beginning of significant changes, with new prize tiers and winning formats set to be introduced after this edition.

First Dh100 million winner

Last month, the lottery made headlines after crowning its first-ever Dh100 million grand prize winner, in a defining moment for the nation’s gaming and entertainment sector. The life-altering jackpot was won on 18th October 2025, during Lucky Day Draw number 251018. The recipient, 29-year-old Indian national Anilkumar Bolla, has been a long-time participant since the lottery’s inception and is a resident of Abu Dhabi.

Anilkumar described the moment he learned of his win as surreal and emotionally overwhelming. Initially believing it to be a mistake, he repeatedly asked for confirmation before sharing the news with a colleague and later his brother in India. Expressing disbelief, he said the experience still feels unreal. Among his first plans are purchasing a supercar, enjoying a month-long stay at a seven-star hotel, and then considering carefully planned investments.

His winning ticket carried special meaning. It combined a random Easy Pick number from the Days set with the number 11 from the Months set, chosen to honour his mother’s birth month. This sentimental decision turned out to be the key to his Dh100 million victory. The timing also added a layer of significance, as the life-changing call came on the eve of Diwali, India’s festival symbolising prosperity and fresh beginnings.

Winning on such an auspicious occasion, he said, felt like a blessing, and he believed his mother’s influence played a role in his good fortune. The win was celebrated not only by him but also throughout the UAE Lottery community, marking a milestone in its history.

The UAE Lottery

Since its launch, The UAE Lottery has produced more than 200 winners of Dh100,000, alongside over 100,000 recipients of smaller prizes. The total payout has exceeded Dh147 million, showcasing the lottery’s growing popularity and reach. Scott Burton, Commercial Gaming Director at The UAE Lottery, congratulated Anilkumar and described the Dh100 million prize as a major achievement for both the organisation and its participants.

Looking ahead

Regulated by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority, The UAE Lottery continues to be recognised for fairness, guaranteed prizes, and transparent operations.
