UAE National Day: Dubai announces extended RTA service timings for Eid Al Etihad 2025 holiday
Metro and Tram set to run until 1am
DUBAI – Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has confirmed the operating hours for all its services during the 54th Eid Al Etihad holiday.
The updated schedule covers Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, public buses, marine transport, parking zones, Customer Happiness Centres, and service provider centres responsible for vehicle inspections.
All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed on Monday and Tuesday, 1 and 2 December 2025. However, Smart Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, and the RTA Headquarters will continue to serve customers around the clock.
Regular service provider centres for vehicle technical inspection will also be closed on the same dates, resuming normal operations on Wednesday, 3 December 2025.
Metro timings
Dubai Metro will operate on Saturday, 29 November from 5:00am to 1:00am the next day, and on Sunday, 30 November from 8:00am to 1:00am. On Monday and Tuesday, 1 and 2 December, the service will run from 5:00am to 1:00am.
Tram and buses
Dubai Tram will run from 6:00am to 1:00am on Saturday, 29 November, and from 9:00am to 1:00am on Sunday, 30 November.
On both Monday and Tuesday, it will be available from 6:00am to 1:00am. Commuters can refer to the S’hail app for updated public bus timings during the holiday.
Marine transport and parking
Marine transport schedules for 1 and 2 December can be accessed via the RTA website.
All public parking across Dubai will be free during the holiday, except for multi-storey car parks and the Al Khail Gate N-365 parking facility. Paid parking will resume on Wednesday, 3 December.
