First-ever summer 10 Dirham Dish kicks off in Dubai this August
Explore pan-Asian, street food and desserts all under Dh10
DUBAI is set to spice up the summer dining scene as Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 launches the first-ever summer edition of its hugely popular 10 Dirham Dish activation.
Running from 1 to 31 August, the initiative invites residents and tourists to enjoy specially curated dishes for just Dh10 at more than 190 unique restaurants across over 700 participating outlets in the city.
10 Dirham Dish
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the DSS 10 Dirham Dish aims to highlight the city's diverse culinary offerings, from local gems to international favourites. Designed as part of DSS’s broader calendar of entertainment and retail experiences, the initiative requires no prior booking or vouchers – simply visit a participating outlet and ask for the Dh10 dish.
This value-packed experience is timed across two major DSS campaigns: the final stretch of the Great Dubai Summer Sale until 10 August, and the Back to School season from 11 to 31 August. The initiative covers an extensive range of casual eateries, food courts, cafés and well-known restaurant chains, appealing to families, groups of friends, and solo diners alike.
Flavours across cultures
The list of participating outlets includes a vibrant range of cuisines. Pan-Asian food lovers can indulge in items such as the Bang Bang Cauliflower Bao at The Noodle House, a warming Chicken Ramen from Yum Noodle Bar, or classic Chow Mein Noodles at San Wan Noodles — each offering a delicious midday or evening meal for Dh10.
Burger enthusiasts are not left behind either. Options include the New York Flat-Top Hot Dog at Shake Shack, the Mini Maverick at Big Smoke Burger, a hearty Brisket Sandwich from Bla Bla Beach Café, and a Cheddar & Pret Pickle Sandwich served with an americano at Pret A Manger.
Street food specials
Fans of street food can enjoy a world of flavours packed into snack-sized portions. Tuck into a flavourful Samosa Chaat from Samboosa Factory, a zesty Katsu Chicken Slider from Revelry, or a spicy Chicken Kathi Roll at Mumbai Express. For a Middle Eastern twist, head to Feka – Dubai’s first Iraqi food truck – to try their popular Chicken Shawarma.
Sweet summer treats
Those in search of something cool and sweet to beat the summer heat will find plenty of tempting choices. Gelato Divino’s signature Classico Cup, frozen yoghurt from Yoghurtland, and Seoul Street Café’s Mango Bingsoo or Matcha Bingsoo are all included in the promotion. For a more classic indulgence, Haagen-Dazs offers a scoop of ice cream paired with a coffee, perfect for a midday refreshment – all at Dh10.
