Dubai South, Toll Group break ground on new 25,000 square metres logistics hub
Project aligns with sustainability goals and LEED Silver standards
DUBAI – Dubai South, the largest single-urban master development focusing on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has joined forces with Toll Group, a global logistics leader, to begin construction on a new distribution centre in the Logistics District.
The project marks a major expansion of Toll Group’s operations in the MENA region and reinforces Dubai South’s ambition to become a leading logistics hub.
Spanning 25,000 square metres, the facility will feature a warehouse, mezzanine, and office spaces with capacity for 30,644 pallets. It will include a general palletised cargo area with four separate chambers, which can be customised to meet specific customer requirements before the warehouse becomes fully operational. Temperature-controlled chambers with VNA racking will also be integrated, and the construction is designed to meet LEED Silver Certification standards, reflecting sustainable practices in both process and materials.
Expected to be completed by August 2026, the facility will serve as a strategic hub offering comprehensive logistics solutions. These include 3PL services, inbound and outbound stock handling and management, value-added services tailored for the MENA region, and both local and cross-border transportation.
