New MoU signed during ceremony attended by key representatives in Dubai
Pakistan Business Council Sharjah and Global Africa Trade Advisory Chamber sign an MoU to strengthen business collaboration in the UAE.
DUBAI – The Pakistan Business Council Sharjah and the Global Africa Trade Advisory Chamber have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in business development and address commercial challenges in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The signing ceremony took place at a local hotel in Dubai and brought together senior representatives from both organisations. Dr SM Tahir, Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council Sharjah, and Dr Dominic Oduro Antwi, President of the Global Africa Trade Advisory Chamber, formally signed the agreement.
Also present at the event were Senior Vice Chairman Syed Saleem Akhtar, Salman Wissal, and Aamir Hassan, who supported the initiative aimed at promoting bilateral trade and business facilitation.
What does the MoU aim to achieve?
According to the agreement, both councils pledged to support one another in identifying trade opportunities and addressing business-related challenges across the Emirates.
Deputy Chairman Syed Saleem Akhtar noted that the UAE remains one of the world’s safest and most business-friendly environments, offering vast opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors from both regions.
The agreement also reflects a shared commitment to contribute actively to the UAE’s economic growth while strengthening trade ties between Pakistan and Ghana.
Who is leading the African delegation?
Dr Dominic, who leads the African trade body, brings over 15 years of experience in market research, branding, and advertising. He has earned global recognition, including the Best Business & Trade Award in 2022, and has been named among Ghana’s top 100 influential personalities.
Officials from the Pakistan Business Council Sharjah lauded the collaboration, calling it a forward-looking step toward increasing bilateral investment and trade engagement.
