Two landmark hotels set to rise in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital
DUBAI: Ishraq Hospitality, the hospitality and asset management arm of Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group, has entered a strategic partnership with Egypt’s Samco Holding to develop two new hotel projects in Cairo’s rapidly evolving New Administrative Capital.
The official signing took place during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 at the Ishraq Hospitality Stand, marking a significant milestone in regional hospitality expansion.
The collaboration focuses on establishing the Holiday Inn Express Cairo New Capital, and The Five Hotel Apartments, both set in the heart of one of Egypt’s most ambitious urban developments. The announcement brings together Ishraq’s operational expertise and Samco Holding’s legacy of innovation in Egypt’s real estate and infrastructure sectors.
Holiday Inn Express launch
The 125-key Holiday Inn Express Cairo New Capital is positioned within the capital’s premium business and residential district. This property is tailored for modern travellers, offering smart, efficient, and comfortable accommodations. Designed to cater to both leisure and corporate guests, the hotel features sleek interiors, flexible working zones, and communal spaces that encourage productivity and relaxation.
With a reputation for delivering consistent quality through its IHG-branded properties, Ishraq Hospitality is set to bring its established standards to Cairo’s next-generation urban hub. The new property adds to Ishraq’s portfolio of Holiday Inn Express locations, including Dubai Airport, Jumeirah, Internet City, and Al Maktoum Airport.

Complementing the Holiday Inn Express, The Five Hotel Apartments will include 100 fully serviced residences within The Five – a mixed-use community developed by Samco Holding.
