UAE imposes travel ban to Iran, Lebanon and Iraq
Citizens urged to return immediately as safety measures intensify
ABU DHABI – The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a travel ban on UAE nationals travelling to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Lebanese Republic and the Republic of Iraq, citing ongoing regional developments.
The decision forms part of precautionary measures aimed at safeguarding Emirati citizens abroad.
Authorities have also called on those currently in the three countries to arrange their immediate return to the UAE.
Travel ban
The ministry stressed that the directive aligns with its continuous monitoring of regional conditions and its commitment to ensuring the wellbeing of UAE nationals. It underscored the importance of complying with official travel advisories and instructions issued through its channels.

Safety measures
UAE nationals currently in Iran, Lebanon and Iraq have been urged to remain in close contact with authorities.
The ministry has provided a dedicated helpline, +97180044444, for citizens requiring assistance.
The move comes as part of broader efforts to maintain safety and respond swiftly to evolving circumstances in the region.
