Air Arabia Abu Dhabi launches new direct flights to Yerevan
Non-stop service now runs six times weekly to Armenia’s capital
DUBAI: Air Arabia Abu Dhabi yesterday marked the launch of its inaugural flight to Yerevan, Armenia, further strengthening its growing international network from the UAE capital.
A celebratory event was held at Zayed International Airport before departure, attended by Armenian Ambassador to the UAE, Karen Grigoryan, alongside officials from both the airline and the airport.
The aircraft was greeted at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan with a traditional water cannon salute, symbolising the beginning of this new direct service.
Flight schedule
Starting from 1 June 2025, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi will operate direct flights between Zayed International Airport and Zvartnots International Airport six times a week.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, flight 3L 441 will depart Abu Dhabi at 14:05 and arrive in Yerevan at 17:25. The return flight, 3L 442, will depart Yerevan at 18:15, landing back in Abu Dhabi at 21:25.
On Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, flight 3L 441 will take off from Abu Dhabi at 09:00, reaching Yerevan at 12:20. The return flight, 3L 442, will depart at 13:10 and arrive in Abu Dhabi by 16:20. All flights will be operated using the Airbus A320 aircraft.
Fleet and features
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi operates a modern fleet of 10 Airbus A320 aircraft, known for being the best-selling single-aisle aircraft globally. Passengers can enjoy a value-focused travel experience, with access to 'SkyTime', a complimentary in-flight streaming service, and 'SkyCafe', an affordable onboard catering option.
The airline also offers 'Air Rewards', a loyalty programme allowing passengers to earn, transfer, and redeem points, enhancing their travel experience even further.
Network growth
The Yerevan route becomes the 29th destination in Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s expanding network. The airline already serves key cities including Ahmedabad, Baku, Beirut, Cairo, Colombo, Dhaka, Kathmandu, Kuwait, Moscow, Muscat, Tbilisi, and Yekaterinburg.
Air Arabia initially launched flights to Yerevan in July 2021, with two weekly services. The latest expansion brings increased frequency and convenience for both business and leisure travellers.
Flights can now be booked via Air Arabia’s website, call centre, or through partnered travel agencies.
