Emirates announces suspension of all Dubai flights until March 4
Limited approved services operate under strict safety coordination
DUBAI – All scheduled Emirates flights to and from Dubai remain suspended until 2359hrs UAE time on 4 March due to ongoing regional airspace closures.
The airline confirmed that regular passenger operations will not resume until restrictions are lifted and safety assessments allow. The move comes as the conflict between the US-Israel and Iran enters its fourth day, disrupting air traffic across parts of the region.
Emirates said it continues to operate a limited number of passenger repatriation and freighter flights on Tuesday (today) Wednesday. These services are subject to strict operational approvals and are prioritising customers with earlier bookings.

Limited operations
The airline has instructed customers not to travel to the airport unless they have been notified directly or hold a confirmed booking on one of the approved flights. Access to terminals may be restricted for passengers without valid documentation for these limited services.
Emirates stated it is monitoring developments closely and will adjust its operational schedule accordingly. Flight updates are being published on its official website, and customers are urged to check their flight status online before making any travel arrangements.

Wider disruption
UAE’s national flag-carrier Etihad Airways has suspended all scheduled commercial flights to and from Abu Dhabi, with only specially approved repositioning, cargo and repatriation flights permitted under coordination with UAE authorities.
Meanwhile, Air Arabia has halted all flights to and from the UAE until 15:00 UAE time on Wednesday. The carrier has also extended suspensions on routes to Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Iraq until 5 March, with limited operations subject to regulatory clearance.
