12 daily flights: Emirates expands UK reach from Dubai with Gatwick addition
Airbus A350 to feature on new evening service
DUBAI: Emirates is set to introduce a fourth daily flight between Dubai and London Gatwick from 8 February 2026.
Designated as flight EK069/070, the service will be operated by the airline’s latest aircraft, the Airbus A350-900. This marks a major step in expanding its London presence to 12 daily flights across London Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted.
Travellers on this route will experience Emirates’ next-generation interiors, including lie-flat Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class seating. With a total of 298 seats on board—32 in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy, and 238 in Economy – the A350 brings comfort paired with the airline’s signature service.
What are the timings?
Flight EK069 will depart Dubai at 17:05hrs and arrive at London Gatwick at 20:50hrs. The return flight, EK070, leaves Gatwick at 23:55hrs and lands in Dubai at 11:00hrs the next day. The timings have been designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers seeking maximum flexibility and convenience.
The evening departure from Dubai allows passengers to complete daily activities—be it meetings or shopping – before heading to the airport. Meanwhile, the late-night departure from Gatwick offers a smooth onward journey with a morning arrival into Dubai.
How does the aircraft stand out?
The A350 will offer customers cutting-edge features, including wireless charging in Business Class, electric window blinds with the Ghaf tree motif in premium cabins, and digital inflight menus accessed via Emirates’ award-winning ice entertainment system.
Edinburgh will be the only other UK destination, besides Gatwick, to receive the new A350.
Where else is Emirates expanding?
The fourth daily flight takes Emirates’ UK operations to 140 weekly flights across eight cities: London Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Globally, London joins a growing list of destinations served by the A350, including Lyon, Bologna, Dammam, Mumbai, Bahrain, Istanbul, Amman and Ahmedabad.
Bookings can be made via the official website, the Emirates App, retail outlets, contact centre or through travel agents.
