Air Arabia expands network with London Gatwick route and return of Aleppo flights
Expanded network offers more travel choices from the UAE
SHARJAH – Air Arabia has expanded its international network with the launch of direct flights between Sharjah and London Gatwick and the resumption of daily services to Aleppo, strengthening travel links between the UAE, the UK and Syria.
Both routes entered service on Saturday as part of the airline's continued network growth. The carrier has also confirmed that a second daily London service will begin on July 10, increasing capacity and offering passengers greater flexibility.
London flights
The inaugural London service was launched at Sharjah International Airport in the presence of senior officials from the airport authority, Air Arabia, the British Embassy in the UAE and other government and commercial representatives. Sharjah Airport described the new route as a strategic addition that broadens direct travel options to one of the world's leading global destinations.

The new Sharjah-London Gatwick route currently operates as a daily non-stop service using the Airbus A321LR aircraft.
Flight G9258 departs Sharjah at 1:45pm and arrives at London Gatwick at 6:35pm local time. The return flight, G9259, leaves London at 7:35pm and lands in Sharjah at 5:50am the following day.
From July 10, Air Arabia will introduce a second daily service. Flight G9265 will depart Sharjah at 3:55am and arrive in London at 8:45am, while the return flight, G9266, will leave London at 10:05am and arrive in Sharjah at 8:20pm.
Syria expansion
Alongside the UK launch, Air Arabia has resumed scheduled daily flights between Sharjah and Aleppo, restoring another key regional connection after years of limited operations.
The daily Sharjah-Aleppo flight departs Sharjah at 8am UAE time, while the return service leaves Aleppo at 11:35am. Syria's General Authority of Civil Aviation said the route would strengthen air links between the two countries and provide passengers with more travel options.
Air Arabia continues to expand its presence in Syria, currently operating 21 weekly flights between Sharjah and Damascus. The airline has also announced direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Aleppo from July 7, with three weekly services connecting Zayed International Airport and Aleppo International Airport.
With the latest additions, Air Arabia's network now covers more than 76 destinations across around 34 countries from its hubs in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah, supporting the airline's strategy of expanding affordable international connectivity.
