UAE-Russia travel: Air Arabia launches first-ever direct flights from Ras Al Khaimah to Kazan
Weekly link opens new opportunities for business and tourism
DUBAI — Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s largest low-cost carrier, has inaugurated its first direct flight between Ras Al Khaimah and Kazan, Russia.
The launch marks a key milestone in the airline’s expanding operations from its Ras Al Khaimah hub, enhancing travel links between the UAE and Russia.
A special ceremony was held at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport before the inaugural departure, attended by representatives from the airport and Air Arabia.

The new service further strengthens the airline’s growing footprint in the Russian market.
New route
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said the new route reflects the carrier’s commitment to providing affordable and reliable air travel options while supporting Ras Al Khaimah’s continued growth as a hub for tourism and trade. The flights will operate weekly, offering direct connectivity between the two destinations.

Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and strong economy. With this addition, Air Arabia now connects Ras Al Khaimah with three Russian cities – Moscow, Yekaterinburg, and Kazan – giving travellers greater access across Russia.
Comfort and convenience
Air Arabia’s modern fleet features the world’s best-selling single-aisle aircraft, offering generous seat pitch and comfort. Onboard amenities include ‘SkyTime’, a free in-flight streaming service, and the ‘SkyCafe’ menu offering a range of affordable meals and snacks.
Travellers can book their direct flights to Kazan via Air Arabia’s website, call centre, or through authorised travel agencies.
