Six winners secure Dh100,000 each in latest Abu Dhabi draw
DUBAI – Big Ticket Abu Dhabi has crowned its latest multimillionaire, with an Indian expat scooping Dh15 million during the live draw held last night.
The jackpot, part of Series 278, went to 30-year-old technician Sandeep Kumar Prasad, who has been working with Dubai Drydocks for the past three years. His winning ticket, number 200669, was purchased on 19th August.

Sandeep, originally from Uttar Pradesh, admitted he was left speechless when contacted live by the hosts of the show. Married and supporting his father, whose health has been a constant concern, he expressed gratitude and said the prize gave him hope of beginning a new chapter back home in India. He dreams of starting his own business and caring for his family.
The ticket that changed his life was bought as part of a group of 20 friends who had been trying their luck for three months. “For the first time in my life, there is so much happiness,” Sandeep shared when asked about the life-changing moment.
More winners announced
The Abu Dhabi draw also rewarded several other participants. Six winners each collected Dh100,000, among them a Sri Lankan expat in Dubai, Dubai-based Ranjith Nair, Nikhil Raj from Kuwait, an Indian participant from overseas, a Jordanian expat in Dubai, and Mohammed Rashid, a Bangladeshi resident of Dubai holding ticket number 072030.
The Big Win contest produced further fortunes: Jogendra Jangir claimed Dh140,000 and intends to clear a housing loan and donate to charity, Jiju Jacob from Mumbai won Dh130,000, and Sharadh from Kerala received Dh130,000 to share among 20 friends. Another winner, Sattar Mazeeha, said his Dh100,000 prize will fund a family trip to the US.
Meanwhile, the Dream Car contest added a luxury touch to the event, with ticket number 019706, purchased on 23 August by Indian expat Shameem Moolathil Hamza Moolathil, securing a BMW M440i.
