UAE travel alert: Emirates announces to operate over 100 flights to and from Dubai
Flights will transport passengers along with essential cargo supplies
DUBAI – Dubai’s flagship carrier, Emirates, said it is operating a reduced flight schedule until further notice following the partial reopening of some regional airspace for the safe conduct of commercial flights.
In a statement issued on Thursday, a spokesperson for the airline confirmed that Emirates will operate more than 100 flights to and from Dubai on March 5 and 6. The flights aim to transport passengers to their destinations while also carrying essential cargo shipments.
The airline said the cargo includes critical goods such as perishables and pharmaceuticals, ensuring supply chains continue despite ongoing operational disruptions.
Flight schedule
Emirates added that it will gradually rebuild its flight schedule depending on the availability of airspace and the fulfilment of all operational requirements.
The airline indicated that adjustments will continue to be made as the situation develops, with schedules evolving in response to operational conditions across the region.
Safety priority
The carrier stressed that safety remains its top priority and said it continues to closely monitor developments while adapting its operations accordingly.
It noted that all operational decisions are being taken with passenger and crew safety as the foremost consideration.

Emirates also urged passengers to proceed to the airport only if they hold a confirmed booking.
