Red Sea International Airport boosts Eid Al Adha capacity with 15,000 seats and extra flights
Domestic and international routes expanded for holiday travel
DUBAI – The Red Sea International Airport (RSI), operated by daa International, has expanded its flight schedule for the Eid Al-Adha period from 21 to 31 May 2026, responding to heightened travel demand during the holiday.
The revised schedule increases total inbound and outbound flights to 80, offering more than 15,000 seats across domestic and international routes. The move is aimed at ensuring smoother connectivity for travellers heading to The Red Sea destination.
The expansion includes 64 domestic flights operating during the period, covering both arrivals and departures. Of these, 32 are additional services introduced beyond RSI’s regular domestic schedule. Domestic routes alone will account for over 10,000 seats, linking travellers from key cities including Riyadh and Jeddah.
Flight boost
International connectivity has also been scaled up, with services from Dubai and Doha contributing nearly 5,000 seats through 16 flight movements. The increased frequency across both domestic and international sectors is designed to accommodate the seasonal influx of visitors during Eid Al-Adha, one of the busiest travel periods in the region.

RSI stated that the expanded operations are aligned with its commitment to delivering a seamless travel experience. Passengers arriving during the holiday period will be welcomed with dedicated Eid-themed activations, reflecting the airport’s focus on hospitality and guest engagement.
