Ajman Tourism roadshow rolls out across French cities
Promotional tour focuses on new partnerships and market expansion
DUBAI – The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has launched a major promotional roadshow across France, marking a new step in its strategy to position the emirate as a leading global tourism destination.
The roadshow, which began on Sunday, will continue until Friday, 10 October 2025, with stops in Nice, Lyon, and Paris.
Led by Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, the initiative aims to deepen collaboration with key French tourism stakeholders and showcase Ajman’s rich heritage, unique natural landscapes, and world-class hospitality. The tour comes at a time when Gulf destinations are witnessing increasing demand from French travellers.
Strategic vision
Speaking on the occasion, Alhashmi emphasised that the campaign is more than a promotional exercise. He noted that it forms part of a broader strategic plan to foster international cooperation and highlight Ajman as a tourism hub offering a holistic experience that blends culture, heritage, and modernity.
Expanding partnerships
The programme includes meetings with leading French travel operators to explore opportunities for sustainable tourism development and to highlight new projects underway in Ajman. By strengthening ties with the French market, ADTD aims to build lasting partnerships, boost awareness of the emirate’s tourism potential, and drive growth across sectors linked to travel and hospitality.
Focus on French market
France remains one of Europe’s most influential tourism markets, and the UAE has consistently ranked high among preferred destinations for French holidaymakers. With its diverse attractions, advanced infrastructure and commitment to authentic Emirati hospitality, Ajman is positioning itself to capitalise on this rising demand.
Economic contribution
The roadshow is also aligned with ADTD’s vision of enhancing Ajman’s presence on the international tourism map. By tapping into new markets and showcasing its evolving portfolio of tourism offerings, the emirate seeks to increase visitor inflows, stimulate local economic growth, and reinforce its standing as a distinctive travel destination.
