Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan returns to Dubai for live concert with son Shazaman
First joint performance to honour the Sufi and Qawwali musical tradition
DUBAI: A musical milestone awaits Dubai this summer as legendary Qawwali maestro Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan shares the stage for the first time with his son Shazaman Ali Khan.
Their joint concert, Legacy of the Khans, will take place at Coca-Cola Arena on Saturday, 30th August 2025, as part of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS).

The event marks a symbolic moment in South Asian music history, connecting generations through the soul-stirring genres of Sufi and Qawwali.
Rahat, globally revered for his powerful renditions and spiritual performances, is set to introduce the next torchbearer of the Khan legacy – his son Shazaman – in a performance that promises to blend tradition with contemporary energy.
The venue for this historic evening is none other than the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai’s premier indoor entertainment destination. With a seating capacity of 17,000 and cutting-edge automated configuration, the arena has hosted an array of international shows and remains a cornerstone of the UAE’s live entertainment scene.
Situated in the vibrant City Walk district, Coca-Cola Arena is just 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport and a short walk from the nearest Metro station. Since its opening in June 2019, it has played host to major concerts, sporting tournaments, theatre, comedy, corporate events and is home to Dubai Basketball – the city’s first pro sports team competing in European leagues.

Ticket details
Early bird tickets start from Dh150 and are now available via Coca-Cola Arena and Platinumlist. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the performance scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM.
