WATCH: Enrique Iglesias brings Latin heat to Rixos Radamis Sharm El Sheikh
Jennifer Lopez to kick off tour with dazzling Egypt debut this July
DUBAI: Global sensation Enrique Iglesias took centre stage at Rixos Radamis Sharm El Sheikh last weekend, delivering an electric performance that captivated thousands in attendance.
This landmark concert, set against the Red Sea’s shimmering coast, marked Iglesias’ debut appearance in the popular Egyptian resort city.
The event was a spectacle of sound, light, and star power. Known for his magnetic stage presence and genre-blending hits, the Grammy-winning King of Latin Pop performed crowd favourites including Bailando, Hero, Escape, and Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You). The atmosphere was charged with energy as over 6,000 guests – from countries including Russia, the UK, Kazakhstan, Italy, Türkiye, Belgium, Uzbekistan, Romania, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt – danced and sang beneath the open sky.

A night of musical brilliance
The concert was exclusive to guests staying at Rixos Radamis Sharm El Sheikh, Club Privé by Rixos Sharm El Sheikh, Rixos Premium Seagate, and Rixos Sharm El Sheikh, who were granted complimentary access to this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The event reinforced the Rixos brand’s commitment to merging luxury with live international entertainment.

A dedicated team of 200 staff members worked tirelessly to construct the temporary arena, design the lighting and sound systems, manage logistics, and ensure that every guest enjoyed a seamless and unforgettable evening. Their precision and professionalism elevated the concert to global standards.
“This night was truly special, not just for our guests but for the entire region,” said Erkan Yildirim, Managing Director of Rixos Hotels Egypt. “Hosting Enrique Iglesias is a proud moment as we continue setting new benchmarks for entertainment in Sharm El Sheikh.”
Behind the scenes
Iglesias, whose music career spans more than two decades, expressed his enthusiasm for performing in Egypt. “It’s been an incredible experience coming to Egypt,” he said. “There’s something magical about performing in a place so rich in history and culture. The hospitality at Rixos Radamis Sharm El Sheikh has been nothing short of amazing.”
He described the resort as “exceptional – beautifully designed, with breathtaking sea views, incredible service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel both relaxed and inspired.”
The performance also served as a prelude to a high-profile summer lineup at the resort. American superstar Jennifer Lopez is scheduled to open her UP ALL NIGHT: LIVE IN 2025 world tour at Rixos Radamis on 4th July 2025. The concert marks both the 25th anniversary of Rixos Hotels and Egypt’s growing prominence as a global stage for A-list entertainment.
UAE up next
Fans who missed Iglesias in Egypt won’t have long to wait. The Latin pop icon is set to perform again in the region later this year. On 1st November 2025, Enrique Iglesias will take the stage at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, bringing his world-renowned hits to the UAE capital for one night only.
Known for his record-breaking career, Iglesias has sold over 180 million albums worldwide and holds the record for the most number-one hits on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart (27) and Latin Pop Airplay chart (24). His concerts are known for blending heartfelt ballads with pulsating Latin dance tracks, keeping audiences on their feet throughout.
His previous UAE appearances include sold-out performances at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena in 2024, Nammos on New Year’s Eve 2022, Dubai Jazz Festival 2017, and a historic show at The Pointe in 2018, where he was the first artist ever to perform at the waterfront venue.
