Yas Island in Abu Dhabi hosted a spectacular celebration to announce the Middle East and Africa’s first-ever Disney theme park resort, a partnership between Miral and The Walt Disney Company.
The event featured a record-breaking 9,000-drone show, fireworks, and live performances by artists including Lang Lang and Rashed Alnuaimi.
Celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Tyrese Gibson, Nancy Ajram, and Chiara Ferragni attended, while iconic UAE landmarks like the Burj Khalifa were illuminated with Disney-themed visuals.
The new Disney resort, to be fully developed by Miral with creative oversight by Disney Imagineers, marks a major milestone in Abu Dhabi’s tourism and entertainment sector.
