Dubai Airports unveils smart pickup system at DXB Terminal 3
Guests guided to vehicles via QR Code
DUBAI Airports has introduced DXB Greet & Go, a smart pickup solution at Dubai International (DXB) Terminal 3.
Aimed at streamlining guest arrivals, the service replaces traditional paging with a QR code-based system, enhancing efficiency for guests with pre-booked hotel, limousine, or tour operator arrangements.
Passengers arriving at Terminal 3 can now scan a unique QR code at a designated kiosk to access their driver’s details, vehicle registration, and parking location. Multilingual staff then guide them directly to their transport, ensuring a smooth handover and minimising confusion in the Arrivals area.
The DXB Greet & Go station is situated within the Terminal 3 Arrivals zone. This centralised point not only improves the guest experience but also supports better crowd management and aligns with Dubai Airports’ security and service standards.
Enhanced guest flow
Essa Al Shamsi, Senior Vice President of Terminal Operations at Dubai Airports, said: “DXB Greet & Go is part of our continued efforts to make every step of the journey at DXB more efficient and enjoyable. By modernising the way guests are received in the Arrivals area, we are helping our partners deliver a smarter and more personalised welcome, while easing footfall and improving operational flow within the terminal.”
Access for licensed operators
The service is open to licensed hotels, limousine services, and tour operators operating in Dubai. These providers can register through the DXB Greet & Go portal and issue guests with personalised QR codes before arrival.
Easy pickup process
Upon arrival and QR code scanning, guests are quickly verified and directed to their designated pickup. The process ensures an orderly, secure, and professional reception.
