Dubai unveils ‘Museum of Light’
DUBAI – Wasl Group has launched a new artistic initiative titled “Museum of Light” under its Wasl Art platform, aiming to showcase creative works by both emerging and established artists across Dubai’s urban landscape.
The initiative debuted with a collaboration featuring renowned Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej, whose artwork now illuminates the façade of Wasl Tower. The piece is inspired by a poem written by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, blending poetry, architecture and visual art into a striking public display.
The “Museum of Light” initiative reflects Wasl Group’s commitment to strengthening Dubai’s cultural and creative landscape while integrating art into everyday urban experiences. Through large-scale visual installations and collaborations with artists, the project aims to transform city spaces into open-air artistic destinations.
