Etihad surprises summer travellers with limited-edition essentials kit
Exclusive giveaway celebrates launch of seasonal destinations
ABU DHABI – Etihad Airways is giving selected passengers an extra reason to look forward to summer travel with the launch of a limited-edition Summer Essentials Kit inspired by its seasonal network of holiday destinations.
The exclusive giveaway will be presented to guests travelling on the inaugural flights of the airline’s eight seasonal routes, including new services to Krakow, Palma de Mallorca and Zanzibar, as well as returning flights to Malaga, Mykonos, Santorini, Nice and Al Alamein.
Designed around the idea of helping travellers begin their holiday immediately upon arrival, the collection combines practical travel accessories with hydration and wellbeing products tailored for summer journeys.
What's inside
The Summer Essentials Kit comes packed in a waterproof Etihad-branded backpack created specifically for the seasonal campaign.
Inside, passengers will find a waterproof phone pouch designed to protect devices while capturing holiday memories at beaches, pools and waterfront destinations. The kit also includes one-shot electrolytes, Al Ain flavoured sparkling water, a ginger brew drink and a pack of water wipes.
The airline said the contents were carefully selected to support comfort and convenience during travel while reflecting the atmosphere of the destinations served by its summer network.

According to Etihad, the initiative aims to enhance the guest experience through a thoughtfully curated package that combines wellbeing essentials with useful travel accessories.
The airline said the kit is intended to create memorable moments throughout the journey while helping travellers feel prepared for city exploration, beach escapes and outdoor adventures as soon as they land.
Inspired by vibrant coastal destinations and lively summer cities, the collection reflects the themes of exploration, comfort and thoughtful care. The practical accessories and refreshment items are designed to accompany travellers beyond the flight itself, whether they are heading to the beaches of Mallorca, the islands of Greece, the French Riviera, the shores of Zanzibar or Egypt’s Mediterranean coast.
The Summer Essentials Kit accompanies Etihad’s wider seasonal network expansion, which introduces new destinations and restores several popular summer routes from Abu Dhabi. Passengers on the first flights of all eight services will receive the limited-edition package as the airline marks the start of one of its busiest leisure travel seasons.
