DUBAI – Dubai-based airline flydubai has resumed operating flights across parts of its international network as regional aviation conditions gradually improve.

The airline confirmed that services are currently running under a reduced schedule while authorities continue to monitor airspace restrictions.

Passengers are advised to confirm their flight status before travelling to the airport and ensure they hold a valid confirmed booking.

The carrier said its operations remain focused on safety and coordination with aviation regulators as the airline gradually restores routes.

Reduced operations

According to the airline’s latest operational update, flydubai is operating flights across its network but with a reduced schedule. Temporary airspace restrictions have resulted in the rerouting of certain flights, which may lead to longer travel times and extended transit periods in Dubai.

Customers connecting through Dubai will only be permitted to travel from their origin if their onward connecting flight is operating.

The airline emphasised that flight schedules may continue to change depending on operational conditions.

Flexible booking

Passengers who booked flights between February 28 and March 31 are eligible to rebook their journeys without penalty charges.

Travellers can change their travel dates to another flight within 30 days of their original booking date. Changes can be made for the same destination or another destination within the flydubai network.

Passengers who booked directly through the airline can manage their booking online or through the flydubai mobile app.

Those who booked through travel agents are advised to contact their agent for assistance with rebooking or refund requests.

Passenger support

The airline confirmed that its Contact Centre is currently experiencing a high volume of calls as customers seek information about travel changes.

Passengers can also manage their bookings through flydubai Travel Shops, authorised travel agents, or by contacting the airline’s Dubai Contact Centre.

Travellers have been advised to keep their contact details updated through the “Manage Booking” section on the airline’s website to receive important notifications about schedule changes.

Customers are also encouraged to check the latest flight status updates through official channels before heading to the airport.

flydubai said it will continue coordinating with aviation stakeholders while gradually restoring normal operations across its network.
