Dubai flight update: Emirates announces reduced schedule to key global destinations
Long-haul routes across Europe, Asia and Americas resume gradually
DUBAI – Following the partial reopening of regional airspace, Emirates has resumed operating a reduced international flight schedule from Dubai, reconnecting the UAE’s aviation hub with dozens of destinations worldwide.
The airline confirmed that services are running with strict operational checks in place while aviation authorities continue to monitor airspace conditions across the region.
Passengers have been strongly advised not to travel to the airport unless they hold a confirmed ticket. Transit passengers through Dubai will only be accepted for travel if their onward connecting flight is operating.
While operations are gradually stabilising, the airline warned that schedules remain subject to change depending on airspace availability and safety assessments.
Emirates flight schedule
The airline is currently operating flights from Dubai International Airport to major destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and Australia. Several long-haul routes have resumed, including services to Australia, the United States and Canada.
Flights to Australian cities include Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, with daily services operating from Dubai. North American routes have also resumed, with departures to New York JFK, Boston, Chicago, Washington, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
Across Europe, Emirates continues to operate flights to cities including Paris, Frankfurt, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, Prague, Copenhagen, Vienna, Amsterdam, Geneva, Zurich, Lisbon and Stockholm. Multiple services are also operating to the United Kingdom, including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Routes across Africa include Johannesburg, Cape Town, Nairobi, Lagos, Accra and Casablanca.
Asia connections
Emirates has also resumed flights to major Asian destinations, including Tokyo Haneda, Tokyo Narita, Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing.
In Southeast Asia, services are operating to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Phuket, Denpasar in Bali and Jakarta.
The airline’s Indian subcontinent network remains extensive, with flights scheduled to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram.
Services are also operating to destinations closer to the Gulf, including Jeddah, Medina and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
Dubai and regional flights
Flights linking Dubai with neighbouring markets have also resumed. These include services to Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore in Pakistan, alongside Colombo in Sri Lanka and Malé in the Maldives.
Emirates confirmed that connecting passengers will only be accepted if their onward flight is confirmed and operating.
What passengers need to know
Customers booked to travel between February 28 and March 31 have several options available if their plans change.
Passengers may rebook onto another Emirates flight to the same destination or an alternative route before April 30. Those who booked through travel agents should contact their agent directly, while customers who booked online can modify their reservation through Emirates’ website.
Refunds can also be requested through the airline’s online portal or via travel agents.
City check-in facilities in Dubai remain temporarily closed as the airline continues to restore operations.
Passengers have been advised to check flight status on the airline’s website before leaving for the airport, as operational adjustments may still occur depending on airspace developments.
