DUBAI – As Dubai lights up for Diwali, Viceroy’s Table celebrates the festival of lights with an exclusive limited-edition menu that blends heritage with haute cuisine.

Designed as a royal feast where every dish glows with symbolism and spectacle, the menu showcases edible art – from butter diyas melting into saffron-scented shorba to sparkler-lit chaats and desserts decked with edible jewels.

Vegetarian indulgence

For vegetarian diners, the culinary journey begins with Saffron Pumpkin Shorba, served with a warm butter diya and saffron kulchas. Next comes Smoked Shakarkandi Chaat, a smoky, playful take on a street classic. The royal thaali follows, featuring Malai Kofta, Morel Biryani, and seasonal vegetables in jewel tones – each celebrating abundance and light.

Non-vegetarian feast

For those who prefer a heartier spread, the non-vegetarian menu begins with Murg Yakhni Shorba with a butter diya and mini kulchas, followed by Green Chicken Tikka. Mains include a choice between Lobster Kofta Moilee and Lamb Chop with Taar Gosht Reduction, combining refinement with depth of flavour.

Sweet finale

The meal concludes with a Box of Jewels – three miniature desserts: Gulab Jamun, White Chocolate & Coconut Elaichi Truffle, and a Kulfi Dome. The vegetarian menu is priced at Dh199, and the non-vegetarian menu at Dh249, both inclusive of two cocktails.

Guests can also sip on bespoke cocktails and mocktails crafted for the occasion. Highlights include Maharanis’ Elixir, a jasmine martini with salted makhana, and The Imperial Flame, a bourbon blend with ghee, saffron, and smoke. Non-alcoholic options like Twilight Rose and Eastern Sun add a festive glow with rose, pomegranate, and turmeric.

A royal experience in Dubai

Located in the heart of Jumeirah, Viceroy’s Table brings the grandeur of colonial India to life through contemporary culinary artistry.

Inspired by old Gymkhana clubs, the restaurant offers a sensory fine-dining experience with tandoor cooking, chatpata sharing dishes, and tableside theatrics – perfect for a Diwali celebration to remember.
