Hangzhou becomes first Chinese mainland city to receive Emirates A350
Passengers enjoy spacious cabins, advanced inflight technology and enhanced comfort across all classes
DUBAI – Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, will deploy its Airbus A350 on its daily service to Hangzhou, China, starting 26th October 2025.
This comes just three months after the city was added to Emirates’ network, making Hangzhou the first destination on the Chinese mainland to receive the airline’s latest aircraft.
The move underlines Emirates’ commitment to enhancing travel experiences for passengers to and from China.
A350 takes off to Hangzhou
Flight EK310 will depart Dubai International Airport at 04:15hrs, arriving in Hangzhou at 16:00hrs. The return flight, EK311, departs Hangzhou at 00:10hrs, landing in Dubai at 06:10hrs.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, said, “Introducing the A350 to Hangzhou is the natural next step, as we continue to bring the latest and greatest that Emirates has to offer to China’s skies. The A350 adds a new dynamic to our existing operations in China, reinforcing our dedication to superior service and innovation.”
The A350 is the first new aircraft model to join the Emirates fleet since 2008, complementing the airline’s Boeing 777s and A380s currently serving Chinese mainland destinations. The aircraft features sleek, spacious cabins with extra-high ceilings, wider aisles, and seamless technology touchpoints designed for passenger comfort. Its ground-breaking inflight entertainment systems provide an immersive travel experience across all classes.
Enhanced passenger comfort
The A350 introduces Premium Economy to Hangzhou, expanding Emirates’ premium offerings.
The 21 Premium Economy seats are designed for maximum comfort, featuring full-leg and footrests, adjustable headrests, in-seat charging, a 13.3-inch TV, side cocktail tables, amenity kits on select flights, and Chandon Vintage Brut 2017 sparkling wine. Passengers in Business Class enjoy 32 next-generation seats in a 1-2-1 layout, while Economy Class offers 259 seats in a 3-3-3 configuration, all optimised for space and convenience.
Premium Economy arrives
Configured in three classes, the Emirates A350 provides 312 seats, ensuring a tailored travel experience for every passenger. Customers can book tickets via emirates.com, the Emirates App, travel agents, or the Emirates contact centre, with WeChat Pay available for travellers in China.
