Abu Dhabi activates new paid parking zones
Rates start at Dh2 per hour for standard spaces
ABU DHABI has activated new paid parking zones, as part of its ongoing efforts to regulate traffic and improve public parking services.
The announcement was made yesterday by Q Mobility, the operator of the capital’s Mawaqif and Darb systems.
New paid parking zones
The newly introduced paid zones include Eastern Mangroves, Dolphin Park, and areas along Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street – specifically Al Khaleej Al Arabi Park 1, 2, 4, and 5.
Al Qurm Plaza has also been added to the list.
Upgrades completed
Infrastructure enhancements have been carried out across all sites, including curb painting, installation of directional signs, and public awareness signage.
Standard rates apply
Parking charges remain unchanged: Dh2 ($0.54) per hour for standard parking and Dh3 per hour for premium spaces.
Q Mobility operates under the Department of Municipalities and Transport.
Drivers are advised to follow on-site signage and use the Darb app to manage payments and avoid fines.
