Dubai families invited to free World Book Day morning at beach resort
Complimentary entry with optional breakfast and drinks available
DUBAI – Dubai’s Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark is set to welcome families for a free community morning aimed at fostering connection and calm during a time many find emotionally challenging.
Scheduled for Thursday, April 23 at 9:00am, the initiative invites parents, children and caregivers to step into a relaxed beachside setting centred on togetherness.

The World Book Day-themed event, titled Bounty Beets Morning, has been curated to offer a gentle escape from daily pressures while encouraging meaningful family interaction. Organisers have positioned the gathering as a supportive space where families can unwind and reconnect in a safe and welcoming environment.
Family space
The event is hosted in collaboration with Lisa Sherrington-Boyd, widely recognised as Principal Lisa, founder of Happy Families and a prominent community figure in Dubai. Known for her work supporting parents and children, she has helped shape the programme to address the needs of families navigating uncertain times.

Families of all sizes and age groups are invited, from babies and toddlers to older children and grandparents, creating a multi-generational atmosphere designed to strengthen bonds and encourage shared experiences.
Activities planned
The morning will feature a variety of engaging activities inspired by World Book Day. These include storytelling sessions, imaginative play, and creative experiences rooted in sensory and nature-based exploration. Opportunities for movement and interaction are also integrated into the programme to promote both physical activity and emotional wellbeing.

Organisers have capped attendance at 100 families to maintain a comfortable and secure environment, ensuring participants can fully benefit from the calm and nurturing setting.
Free access
The initiative forms part of the resort’s broader commitment to community wellbeing, with free entry offered to all attendees. While participation in the event is complimentary, guests will have the option to purchase breakfast and beverages à la carte during the morning.
A small selection of mum-led businesses and family-focused brands will also be present, contributing to the experience through curated offerings aligned with the event’s theme.
Bookings are required in advance, with limited spaces available for families seeking a morning centred on relaxation, creativity and connection.
