Flyadeal launches four new routes between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan
Riyadh and Dammam flights to key Pakistani cities start this August
DUBAI: Saudi Arabia’s budget airline Flyadeal is strengthening its footprint in Pakistan with the launch of four new direct routes beginning later this August.
The carrier will operate flights from Riyadh to Islamabad, Peshawar, and Sialkot, as well as a new connection from Dammam to Karachi.
New weekly services
Flights will commence between August 24 and August 26, using Airbus A320 aircraft. Riyadh to Islamabad and Peshawar will operate twice weekly, while the Riyadh–Sialkot and Dammam–Karachi routes will run three times a week.
The new additions significantly expand Flyadeal’s network in Pakistan, which was launched in February 2025 with routes from Jeddah and Riyadh to Karachi.
Exclusive Riyadh-Sialkot route
A notable development is the reinstatement of the Riyadh–Sialkot route, left unserved since Pakistan International Airlines suspended the service in 2024. Flyadeal will now be the only carrier offering a direct link between the two cities, beginning August 26.
Passenger demand rising
The expansion reflects growing travel demand between the two nations. In 2024 alone, approximately 5.9 million passengers flew between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, with total seat capacity continuing to increase each year.
