The Bayut Awards ceremony this year was significant as it recognised the exceptional efforts of the real estate industry's leaders, who triumphed through remarkable growth in the UAE's market last year.
The selection process for the 2023 Bayut Awards was rigorous, with a dedicated jury ensuring that only the most deserving professionals and agencies were recognised, regardless of whether they received a trophy. The selection criteria focused on quality listings, authenticity, customer service, and engagement on Bayut's unparalleled platform. All winners were selected based solely on their performance and merit, resulting in an impressive display of groundbreaking agencies recognised for their outstanding work ethic across multiple categories.
The event also featured the coveted People's Choice Awards, where the public could vote for their favourite agents and agencies and potentially win a cash prize of AED 25,000.A Year of Record-Breaking Transactions
The real estate market in the UAE experienced an impressive surge in 2023, with transaction volumes and values reaching all-time highs. More than 125,000 transactions were recorded, surpassing a total value of almost AED 400 billion. This growth is evidence of the industry's toughness and adaptability, as well as the skill of its significant players.

The awards ceremony recognised the exceptional women's leadership in the real estate industry. The winners included Alessia Sheglova, CEO of Dacha Real Estate; Kika Pavese, Managing Director of MD Real Estate; Linda Muldoon, Managing Director of The Urban Real Estate; Neema Kataria, Managing Partner of Hunt and Harris Real Estate; Wendy Stapleton, Managing Director of Hunt and Harris Real Estate, and Zeina Khoury, President of Zed Capital Real Estate.
The Chairman of Allsopp & Allsopp, Lewis Allsopp, expressed his delight at receiving the Agency of the Year 2023 award in Dubai. He shared that winning this award is a great honour and a testament to their belief in the positive impact of real estate transparency and innovation. He highlighted the importance of prioritising trust, doing things ethically, and considering the needs of their clients. Evgeny Ratskevich, the CEO of Metropolitan Capital, expressed his gratitude for winning the Agency of the Year award in Abu Dhabi in 2023. Zaif Muhammad, the CEO of Keyspace Real Estate, expressed his pride in receiving the Agency of the Year 2023 award for Northern Emirates from Bayut.
