Born on 15 March 1983, Honey Singh started as a session and recording artist before becoming a Bhangra producer, singer, music producer, and actor. Over the years, he has received multiple accolades, including the ETC Award for Best Sound in 2006 for Glassi, the PTC Best Folk Pop Award in 2009 for Rebirth, and the PTC Punjab Best Music Director Award in 2011.
He also made headlines by reportedly earning the highest Bollywood song fee in 2012, receiving 7 million (US$126,700) for a track in the film Mastaan.
