Watch: India’s Honey Singh launches ‘Yo Yo Watches’ in Dubai
Kapil Sharma and Shehnaaz Gill grace Mumbai launch
DUBAI: Indian rapper and pop icon Honey Singh has officially entered the world of luxury fashion with the launch of his first lifestyle venture, Yo Yo Watches, in Dubai.
The unveiling took place in the heart of the city he now partly calls home, marking the beginning of a bold new chapter for the 42-year-old performer known for hits like Brown Rang and Desi Kalakaar.
Developed in collaboration with Indian watchmaker Titan and Dubai-based lifestyle brand Opul, the collection reflects Singh’s personal evolution – from stadium stages and public battles with mental health to reinvention and global ambition.
Yo Yo Watches: Time & identity
The limited-edition line combines sleek aesthetics with a powerful message about identity and resilience. “Time doesn’t wait, and neither did I,” Singh said. “It’s tested me, refined me, and taught me who I am.”
Designed for both men and women, the watches feature bold bezels, intricate detailing, and a distinct swagger. Singh says he’s no longer chasing trends – he’s setting them. “After God, the two things I respect most are my mother and time. That’s the hierarchy,” he added.
It’s no coincidence that the watches debuted in Dubai. Singh has lived, performed, and filmed across the city, even calling it “the place where everything realigned.” As he noted, “Dubai feels like family – the unity, the humility, the energy. It was always going to be here.”
Hollywood plans
But that’s not all. Singh also revealed his ambitions to break into Hollywood, backed by his close friend and Moroccan singer Abd El Fattah Grini. “Not romantic,” Singh laughed, “something crazy.”
While many know him for his energetic lyrics and party anthems, Singh’s off-stage persona tells another story. Thoughtful and introspective, he credits his inner circle – those who still call him Hirdesh – for keeping him grounded.
He remains active in music, too. His latest track 6AM, released just last week, has already garnered over 16.5 million views on YouTube and is trending at number nine.
Mumbai launch
Following the Dubai launch, Yo Yo Watches was also introduced in Mumbai in a separate event attended by celebrities including comedian Kapil Sharma and actress Shehnaaz Gill. The duo added their own flair to the Indian launch, which was kept more intimate yet lively.

As Singh put it in a social media post following the Dubai event: “YoYo Watches Dubai launch was amazing thank u everyone. God is Great.”
