ABU DHABI – The UAE Ministry of Interior has extradited one of China’s most wanted fugitives, following his arrest by Dubai Police under an International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) red notice.
The suspect is accused of running an organised criminal network that operated fraudulent gambling websites, generating millions of dollars in illicit proceeds.
Authorities confirmed that the arrest was made in Dubai after close coordination with international law enforcement agencies. The Ministry of Interior facilitated the handover of the suspect to Chinese authorities.
Chinese officials expressed appreciation for the UAE’s cooperation, highlighting the importance of joint efforts to strengthen security across borders and combat organised crime.
