ABU DHABI: Big Ticket’s weekly e-draw series continues to create life-changing moments as it rolls through an action-packed May. Prasanth Raghavan, a 57-year-old engineer from Kerala, has been living in Abu Dhabi since 1995. Sundaran Thachapully, also from India, secured his winning ticket online—number 275-158707. He was overjoyed to learn that a complimentary ticket earned through the buy-two-get-one-free offer had made him Dh50,000 richer.
Banarji Narayanan, aged 62, originally from Kerala, has resided in Fujairah with his family for the past 19 years. He began participating in Big Ticket draws in 2013, after discovering them online. Since then, he has teamed up with a group of friends every month to buy tickets collectively. Like Sundaran, it was a free bonus ticket that led to his win this time.
“I’m so happy right now – I truly have no words to describe this feeling,” Banarji said. “I don’t have any specific plans just yet, but one thing is certain: I will keep buying Big Ticket entries.”
Encouraging others to try their luck, he added, “Everyone should take part in Big Ticket. It really is helping dreams come true.”
Another winner, Muhammed Attoora Valappil, purchased ticket number 275-050776 in-store and was elated when he received the winning call. Originally from India, Muhammed’s win adds to the growing list of South Asian expats who continue to participate with enthusiasm.
Among this week’s winners is Mohamed Farhan Shajahan, a 37-year-old Superintendent from Tamil Nadu, currently living in Kuwait with his family. Having discovered Big Ticket through its website and YouTube ads, he began participating nearly a year ago with a group of friends. However, it was the solo attempt this month—again with a free ticket – that led to his first-ever win.
“When I first got the call, I honestly thought it was a prank,” Mohamed recalled. “But once it sank in, I was overjoyed. It was such an unbelievable moment.”
He intends to use his winnings to pay off existing loans but says he’ll continue participating. “I definitely plan to keep buying more tickets. My advice to others is simple: don’t give up. Keep trying—you never know when it might be your turn.”

Big Ticket is offering a grand prize of Dh20 million this month, with the draw scheduled to take place on 3rd June 2025. One lucky individual will walk away with the jackpot, while five additional winners will each receive Dh150,000 during the same draw event.
Adding to the thrill are the weekly e-draws, which are giving away Dh50,000 each to five winners every week in May – amounting to 20 winners throughout the month.
