Etihad launches Corporate Care with priority support for business travellers
Enhancement aims to provide greater continuity during unexpected disruptions
ABU DHABI – Etihad Airways has launched Corporate Care, a new enhancement to its Etihad for Business programme designed to provide eligible organisations and their travellers with priority support during their journeys.
The UAE national airline said the service is intended to provide greater assistance when unexpected travel disruptions affect corporate trips.
The new offering expands Etihad for Business support by combining priority assistance, dedicated account management and closer coordination with travel management companies (TMCs). The airline said the initiative is designed to help businesses maintain greater continuity and confidence when travel plans are disrupted.
Priority support
Under Corporate Care, eligible Etihad for Business members can receive priority assistance during travel disruptions. This includes support with rebooking and protection of the flight in the unlikely event of an aircraft downgrade.
The service also provides consideration for seat preferences when an aircraft swap takes place, helping corporate travellers manage changes to their original travel arrangements.
Etihad said the enhanced support is focused on situations where timely assistance can be particularly important to organisations and their travelling employees.
Dedicated contact
Corporate Care also gives organisations access to dedicated account management teams, providing a closer point of contact for business travel requirements.
The airline said this is intended to strengthen communication between Etihad and corporate customers while providing organisations with more direct support throughout their travel experience.
The programme also involves closer coordination with TMCs. By working more closely with travel management partners, Etihad aims to create a more connected support process for organisations and their travellers.
This coordination can help businesses manage travel arrangements more efficiently when changes or disruptions occur, while keeping the different parties involved in the journey connected.
Business travel
Javier Alija, Vice President Sales, Digital & Distribution at Etihad Airways, said Corporate Care was designed to provide Etihad for Business members with an enhanced level of support when unexpected disruptions affect their travel plans.
“When it matters most, your business deserves more than support. It deserves priority,” Alija said.
He said the service combines priority assistance, dedicated account management and collaboration with TMC partners to help customers navigate their journeys with greater confidence.
Corporate Care forms part of Etihad's wider efforts to enhance its Etihad for Business proposition as the corporate travel sector evolves. The airline said it remains focused on supporting organisations and their employees with a customer-focused travel experience.
Organisations interested in Corporate Care can contact their Etihad account manager to discuss the feature and how it may support their business travel requirements. Further information is also available through the Etihad for Business website.
