Harsh Gujral
Harsh Gujral’s comedy is rooted in everyday experiences, ranging from relationships and family dynamics to social observations that resonate widely with urban audiences. His performances are known for blending structured storytelling with spontaneous crowd interaction, allowing each show to take on a distinct character depending on audience engagement.
His quick wit and ability to improvise on the spot have become defining features of his stage presence. Rather than relying solely on scripted material, he often engages directly with audience members, creating moments that feel unfiltered and unique to each performance. This approach has helped him establish a strong following across India and international venues, including Dubai’s growing comedy scene.
The Harsh’O’Ullas show continues this format, delivering a mix of relatable humour and energetic delivery that has become his trademark. The production is designed to maintain a fast-paced rhythm while ensuring spontaneous audience-driven moments remain central to the experience.
Before becoming a full-time comedian, Harsh Gujral built a career in the corporate sector after completing his engineering degree. He began working in 2012 as a database engineer at RateGain in Noida, India, with a starting salary of around INR13,000 per month. He later worked with several multinational companies including HCL, IBM, and TCS.
While pursuing his corporate career, he continued performing at open mics and small comedy gigs, gradually developing his craft alongside his professional commitments. A significant turning point came when he was offered an opportunity to perform comedy in London for a year, an experience that broadened his exposure to international audiences and comedic styles.
Upon returning to India, Harsh Gujral began focusing more intensely on live performances, particularly crowd-work comedy. His breakthrough in this format came after hosting a company event, where his improvisational interactions with the audience received strong appreciation. This moment played a key role in his decision to transition fully into comedy.
He eventually left his corporate job and began performing at established venues such as Canvas Laugh Club, which helped him gain wider recognition. Over time, his performances and digital presence contributed to his rise as a prominent name in India’s stand-up comedy landscape, leading to shows across major cities and international stages, including Dubai.
