Dubai Police crowned world’s most agile force
Data-driven methodologies turn challenges into opportunities for police teams
DUBAI – The Dubai Police have been officially recognised as the most agile police force in the world, receiving accreditation from the Business Agility Institute (BAI).
The recognition follows a comprehensive assessment of leadership capabilities and the maturity of Dubai Police’s agility ecosystem, conducted in May.
The evaluation marked a 10-point increase compared to its first assessment in 2023, achieving the highest score globally across both policing and public sectors.
World’s most agile police force
The accreditation examined key criteria including agile leadership and governance, corporate strategy, organisational structures, administrative processes, team management and empowerment, cultural and intellectual collaboration, and organisational change management.
The assessment also evaluated alignment with government and global excellence standards, reflecting Dubai Police’s integration of organisational agility with future-focused government requirements.
Advanced model
Major General Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering, said the award recognises Dubai Police for transforming agile leadership from a theoretical concept into a practical, people-centric approach. He highlighted that this model supports innovation, strengthens operational readiness, and positions Dubai Police among the world’s leading police institutions in terms of performance and organisational preparedness.

Innovation and efficiency
Colonel Abdullah Jassim Al Zarouni, Director of the Knowledge, Innovation and Development Department, stated that the accreditation reflects Dubai Police’s research-led initiatives in innovation and organisational agility. He explained that the force leverages data analysis and proactive methodologies to convert challenges into opportunities, adopt smart solutions, and implement flexible operational models that enhance decision making and efficiency.

The achievement also underscores continued investment in human capital, refinement of operating models, and the strengthening of global partnerships to support Dubai Police’s future readiness. It ensures ongoing excellence in security innovation and reinforces the force’s commitment to adopting the latest global best practices in organisational agility.
Business Agility Institute
The Business Agility Institute is a globally recognised organisation and the only specialised body dedicated to assessing and measuring organisational agility in both government and private sector entities. It uses internationally recognised scientific models and standards, awarding professional and institutional accreditations in the field.
