Carnival by Trèsind Dubai brings back Mohammed Ali Road pop-up for Ramadan 2026
Mumbai-inspired food experience returns with live cooking stations
DUBAI – Dubai’s dining scene is set for a nostalgic Ramadan showcase as Carnival by Trèsind revives its Mohammed Ali Road style street food pop-up for 2026.
The concept returns after a strong public response last year, bringing back a themed iftar experience inspired by one of Mumbai’s most famous Ramadan food streets. This year’s edition promises deeper flavours, expanded stations and a stronger focus on culinary storytelling.
Inspired by the spirit of gatherings at sunset along Mohammed Ali Road, the pop-up recreates the atmosphere through live cooking counters, colourful presentation and traditional dishes prepared fresh. The format blends authenticity with the restaurant’s creative and elevated approach for diners in Dubai.
Live stations
Among the headline attractions is the Sikandari Raan Counter, serving slow cooked roasted lamb leg with chutney pyaz and utta tava roti. The Shalimar Haleem Center features both mutton haleem and jackfruit haleem, finished with mint, ginger, ghee, coriander, fried onions, chillies and lemon. Each dish is prepared at live stations designed to mirror classic Ramadan street kitchens.
The Minara Masjid Tikka Biryani station presents chicken and mutton biryani alongside chicken tikka, lamb seekh, hung marghi tikka and veg mix grill biryani bhatti. Traditional accompaniments include biryani gravy, salaan, papad and raita, served as part of the themed spread.
Street favourites
Additional counters include the Haaji Tikka Center with tawa kaleji, tawa bheja and soya chaap paired with buttered pao. The Al Akbar Fry Counter offers kheema mini samosa, desi fish pakoda, chicken cheese cutlet, batata mirchi vada and assorted vegetable fritters, reflecting popular subcontinent street snacks.
Sweet finish
Desserts round off the experience with Rice Phirni, Shahi Gulab Jamun and Kesari Badami Shahi Tukda.
The pop-up runs during iftar hours throughout Ramadan 2026 at the restaurant’s DIFC location, with reservations available via 800 1604 or +971 4 499 8000.
