‘Win Your Home in Dubai’ launches with 12 residential units up for grabs
Shoppers gain weekly chances to win studio apartments and grand prize home
DUBAI – Dubai has unveiled a landmark citywide initiative titled ‘Win Your Home in Dubai’, transforming routine shopping into a pathway towards property ownership in the emirate.
The programme is jointly led by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), alongside Dubai Chambers, marking a first-of-its-kind collaboration between public and private sector bodies.
Running for 12 weeks, the campaign blends retail engagement, tourism appeal and real estate incentives into a single unified experience. It positions Dubai not only as a global shopping destination, but also as a city where everyday spending can translate into long-term life opportunities.
Retail drive
The initiative runs from 22 May to 30 August 2026, spanning 12 weeks of continuous retail activity across the emirate. Residents and visitors aged 18 and above are eligible to participate, with entry unlocked through a minimum spend of Dh 500 at any participating outlet. More than 1,000 brands and over 3,500 retail outlets across Dubai are involved, creating widespread access across malls, retail districts and lifestyle destinations. The campaign has been strategically aligned with major shopping periods including Eid Al Adha, the 3 Day Super Sale, and Dubai Summer Surprises, ensuring heightened consumer engagement during peak retail seasons.
Each qualifying transaction requires participants to scan a QR code available at participating locations and upload their receipt to validate entry. Every additional spend of Dh 500 or more generates further entries, increasing the likelihood of selection. Early participation is encouraged, as entries remain valid throughout the full duration of the 12-week programme, allowing continued accumulation of chances across weekly and final draws.
Prize structure
The campaign features a total of 12 residential units located across Dubai, supplied by Binghatti Developers, the exclusive real estate partner for the initiative. The prize pool includes 11 studio apartments and one two-bedroom apartment, designed to reflect both accessibility and aspirational ownership.
Each week during the campaign, one studio apartment will be awarded to a winner selected through the draw process. The most anticipated prize, the two-bedroom apartment, will be announced during the final week, serving as the grand culmination of the initiative. The structure is designed to maintain sustained engagement over the entire 12-week period, with weekly opportunities reinforcing ongoing participation and anticipation.
Organisers have emphasised that entries are cumulative, meaning each eligible spend continues to build a participant’s overall chances. This format encourages repeat engagement while linking retail behaviour directly to the possibility of acquiring residential property in Dubai.
How it works
Participation has been structured to remain straightforward and digitally driven. Customers simply spend a minimum of Dh 500 at any participating outlet, scan the QR code displayed in-store or on campaign materials, and upload their receipt through the official process. Once validated, the entry is confirmed, with additional Dh 500 increments unlocking further entries automatically.
The campaign’s digital-first approach reflects Dubai’s broader retail transformation strategy, integrating technology into consumer experiences. With thousands of participating outlets, shoppers are expected to encounter multiple entry points across daily routines, turning ordinary purchases into recurring opportunities within the draw system.
Beyond individual participation, the initiative is designed to reinforce Dubai’s broader retail and economic ecosystem. According to organisers, the collaboration between DFRE, Dubai Chambers and DET reflects a unified strategy to strengthen consumer confidence, support business activity and enhance footfall across key retail destinations.
The campaign is also expected to generate momentum across multiple sectors, particularly during high-traffic retail events. By linking spending with aspirational rewards, it aims to stimulate demand across participating brands while reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for shopping, tourism and investment activity. The inclusion of a leading real estate developer further bridges the retail and property sectors, creating a cross-industry model of engagement that extends beyond traditional promotional campaigns.
Speaking on the launch, DFRE leadership highlighted Dubai’s long-standing positioning as a city where global residents come to build futures and invest in long-term stability. Dubai Chambers emphasised the initiative’s role in enhancing commercial activity and strengthening the emirate’s retail competitiveness, while Binghatti Developers underscored the symbolic link between homeownership and belonging within Dubai’s evolving urban landscape.
As the campaign progresses through its 12-week schedule, it is set to align with some of the emirate’s most active retail periods, maintaining continuous engagement across shopping centres and participating brands, while shaping a dynamic intersection of commerce, lifestyle and opportunity that continues to evolve across the city.
