SHARJAHAir Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest budget carrier, has launched a new service called Sharjah Home Check-In.

The initiative allows passengers to complete the entire check-in process from their own homes, offering added convenience and a smoother travel experience. The service aims to streamline airport procedures, saving time and making travel more comfortable for residents flying from Sharjah International Airport.

Sharjah Home Check-In is available 24 hours up to eight hours before flight departure. Once the service is booked, an Air Arabia agent visits the passenger at home to check in their baggage and issue boarding passes. This enables passengers to proceed directly to the airport without needing to queue for check-in, providing a seamless start to their journey.

How does it work?

Passengers can book the Home Check-In service through Air Arabia’s official website, by calling the airline’s call centre, or via authorised travel agencies. After booking, an agent coordinates the visit to the passenger’s residence, ensuring baggage handling and boarding pass issuance are completed efficiently. The service is designed to reduce waiting times at the airport while maintaining all standard security and travel regulations.

What are the benefits?

The service highlights Air Arabia’s continued commitment to improving passenger experience. By offering home check-in, the airline enhances convenience, allowing travellers to avoid long queues and minimise airport waiting times. This service aligns with the carrier’s focus on delivering affordable, value-added solutions to meet evolving passenger needs.
