The one-night-only performance will see the legendary Indian musician deliver a large-scale live production featuring orchestral arrangements, immersive visuals and a career-spanning setlist.

Doors at Etihad Arena open at 6pm, with the concert scheduled to begin at 8pm. Tickets are priced from Dh225, and organisers expect a packed venue as fans gather to witness one of the most influential composers of modern times perform live in the UAE capital.

AR Rahman in Abu Dhabi

Rahman’s career spans more than three decades, during which he has redefined film and stage music across continents. From his landmark debut in Roja to international projects such as Slumdog Millionaire, his work has consistently bridged cultures and genres. The Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack earned him two Academy Awards and two Grammys, cementing his global stature.

His honours also include a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, the Padma Bhushan, six National Film Awards and an extensive collection of Filmfare trophies. Over the years, Rahman’s music has reached audiences in multiple languages, making him one of the most decorated and widely respected composers in the world.

Tomorrow’s Abu Dhabi concert is expected to feature a selection of Rahman’s most celebrated compositions. His repertoire includes widely loved tracks such as Param Sundari, Tere Bina and Muththa Mazhai (Reprise), alongside signature scores that span Indian cinema, international films and independent music projects.

Known for blending classical Indian melodies with contemporary sounds and global influences, Rahman’s live performances are carefully curated experiences rather than standard concerts. Each show combines music, visuals and stagecraft to create an immersive atmosphere for audiences.
