Oscar winner AR Rahman buys home at Mercedes-Benz Places by Binghatti in Dubai
Branded residences continue attracting international artists and investors
DUBAI – Oscar and Grammy-winning composer AR Rahman has become the latest international celebrity to invest in Dubai's booming luxury property market after purchasing a home at Mercedes-Benz Places by Binghatti in Downtown Dubai.
Known for composing award-winning soundtracks for films including Roja, Bombay, Dil Se, Lagaan and Slumdog Millionaire, Rahman has earned two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe during his career.
The acclaimed Indian musician completed the signing during a ceremony led by Abdullah Binghatti, Chief Sales Officer of Binghatti. The acquisition marks another milestone for one of Dubai's most prestigious branded residential developments.
Rahman, a two-time Academy Award winner and one of India's most celebrated music composers, officially joined the growing list of globally recognised personalities choosing Dubai as a destination for premium real estate investment.
