Dubai Police rev up with Mercedes luxury patrols

DUBAI – On World Tourism Day, Dubai Police unveiled three new luxury patrol cars from Mercedes-Benz – the SL 55 AMG, GT 63 AMG, and EQS 580 electric model.

Equipped with the latest AI technology and sustainable transport systems, the vehicles were inaugurated by Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri of the General Department of Criminal Investigation.

The launch ceremony brought together Dubai Police officials and senior representatives from Mercedes-Benz and Gargash Enterprises, including Thomas Schulz, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz Cars.

The new fleet will enhance police presence across Dubai’s most popular tourist destinations, such as Burj Khalifa, Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard and JBR, while also strengthening community-focused services by offering assistance and guidance to visitors.

Both Dubai Police and Mercedes-Benz described the collaboration as a strategic partnership highlighting sustainable and modern mobility, with the event concluding in an exchange of commemorative shields.
