7 popular Dubai outdoor attractions reopening for 2025 season
Spectacular shows and family activities await at citywide destinations
DUBAI – The city’s outdoor season is returning with cooler evenings on the horizon, and seven of its most popular attractions are set to reopen.
Each year, these venues close during the peak of summer, using the time for upgrades, renovations, and preparations for their next season.
From floral wonders and cultural spectacles to wildlife encounters and adventure escapes, Dubai’s reopening attractions offer something for every taste. Whether residents are looking for a weekend plan or visitors are planning their itineraries, here are the key destinations reopening for 2025.
Dubai Miracle Garden
Dubai Miracle Garden, the world’s largest natural flower garden, will reopen on Monday September 29.
Spread across 72,000 sq m in Dubailand, the park features more than 150 million flowers in creative patterns and structures. Season 14 promises new floral designs, adding to its record-breaking displays that have earned three Guinness World Records. Opening hours run from 9am to 11pm on weekdays, and until midnight at weekends.
Dubai Safari Park
Dubai Safari Park is set to launch its seventh season on Tuesday October 14.
The 119-hectare solar-powered park in Al Warqa 5 is home to more than 3,000 animals representing over 200 species. Divided into themed zones – African Village, Asian Village, Arabian Desert Safari, Explorer Village and Adventure Valley – the destination offers feeding sessions, live zoologist talks, and interactive programmes such as ‘Junior Ranger’.
Global Village
Global Village will reopen its gates on Wednesday October 15 for its landmark 30th season, running until May 10, 2026.
Last season, the multicultural attraction welcomed 10.5 million visitors who explored more than 90 national pavilions, 3,500 shopping outlets, 200 rides, and 250 dining experiences. Season 30 promises an even grander celebration, marking two decades since the attraction moved to its Dubailand location in 2005.
Ripe Market
Ripe Market, Dubai’s community favourite, is back from Saturday October 11 at Police Academy Park.
Known for stalls selling fresh produce, crafts, clothing and artisanal goods, it also features food trucks, fitness classes, horse riding, a petting zoo and live entertainment. The market runs every weekend throughout the cooler months.
Hatta Wadi Hub
Hatta Wadi Hub reopened earlier on September 15, kicking off its season of outdoor thrills.
Located in the Hajar Mountains, the hub offers hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, ziplining, and the adrenaline-pumping Hatta Drop-in water slide. For those staying overnight, Hatta Resorts has resumed bookings with options ranging from mountain lodges and domes with plunge pools to vintage caravans. Guests also benefit from discounts on ziplining, kayaking and archery.
Dubai Garden Glow
Dubai Garden Glow is preparing for its 11th season, this time in a brand-new location with a refreshed concept.
Known for its illuminated sculptures and themed areas such as Dinosaur Park, the attraction has not yet confirmed its reopening date but is expected to welcome visitors soon.
Dubai Fountain
The Dubai Fountain at Burj Lake, next to the Burj Khalifa, will return on Wednesday October 1 after major upgrades.
The performing fountain, closed since April, now features a strengthened waterproof base, new insulation layers, and blue tiles to enhance the effect of its water, light and music shows.
Since its debut in 2009, the attraction has remained one of Dubai’s most iconic evening spectacles.
