DUBAI – The Emirate of Ajman has unveiled a comprehensive package of incentives aimed at strengthening its tourism sector, easing financial pressures on businesses, and enhancing its appeal to visitors and investors.
The measures were approved under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council.
The initiative focuses on improving operational efficiency, supporting private sector growth, and reinforcing the sustainability of tourism businesses. It also introduces visitor-focused benefits, including free access to museums, alongside regulatory and financial relief measures.
Officials say the package aligns with Ajman’s broader strategy to build a competitive and resilient tourism ecosystem. Recent figures underline the sector’s momentum, with more than 88,000 guest arrivals recorded between March 1 and April 21, 2026, reflecting rising interest in the emirate as a destination.
Fee deferrals
A central component of the initiative is the deferral of tourism-related fees for all establishments for six months, effective from March 1, 2026. This measure is intended to ease short-term financial burdens on operators while maintaining business continuity.
By postponing these payments, authorities aim to give tourism businesses greater flexibility to allocate resources towards improving services, upgrading facilities, and enhancing visitor experiences.
The move is particularly significant for small and medium-sized enterprises, which form a large part of Ajman’s tourism landscape.
Waivers
In addition to fee deferrals, the package includes the waiver of late fines associated with licence renewals during the same six-month period. This removes penalties that may have accumulated due to delayed compliance.
Authorities have also exempted tourism establishments from fees related to event permits and licence renewals. These waivers are expected to reduce operational costs and encourage businesses to remain active in hosting and participating in tourism-related activities.

Instalment plans
