Philippine Airlines announces Dubai-Manila return with limited-time 50% fare discount
Boeing 777 flights will offer in-flight entertainment from late October
DUBAI – Philippine Airlines (PAL) is bringing back its nonstop Dubai-Manila service on October 2, giving travellers another option for direct flights between the UAE and the Philippines.
The airline has marked the return with a limited-time flash sale offering 50 percent off the base fare. The promotion is available for bookings made on Wednesday through PAL’s official website, using the designated promo code.
The special offer covers eligible flights from October 2 onwards, giving passengers an opportunity to book ahead of the service’s return. The discount applies to the base fare, while applicable taxes, fees and other charges may remain payable.

Travellers can use promo code PALDXB50 when booking through the Philippine Airlines website during the promotional period. The booking window runs from 12 midnight to 11:59pm UAE time on September 23, 2026.
Josh Vasquez, PAL regional head for EMEA and ISC, said the promotion was being offered to mark the return of the Dubai service and give customers access to special fares.
The airline said the returning route will initially operate four times a week, with services scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. PAL also plans to progressively increase the frequency towards daily operations as operational considerations allow.
Flight schedule
From October 2, flight PR 658 will operate from Manila to Dubai on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The service is scheduled to depart Manila at 12:50pm and arrive in Dubai at 6pm, with all times local.
The return service, PR 659, will leave Dubai at 7:45pm on the same four days and arrive in Manila at 9:10am the following day.
The route will also see an aircraft change later in the year. From October 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027, Philippine Airlines plans to operate the Dubai-Manila service with its Boeing 777 aircraft.
According to PAL, passengers flying on the Boeing 777 will have access to in-flight entertainment throughout the aircraft, adding another onboard feature to the returning service.
Dubai is a major destination for Filipino travellers, while the UAE city also provides onward connections to destinations across the Middle East, Africa and Europe. The restored nonstop service is expected to cater to passengers travelling for holidays, business and visits to family and friends.
Founded in 1941, Philippine Airlines is the Philippines’ flag carrier and the country’s only full-service network airline. The airline operates nonstop services from Manila and Cebu to destinations across the Philippines, Asia, North America, Australia and the Middle East.
PAL said it operates flights to 29 destinations across the Philippines and 40 international destinations. The airline is an APEX Four Star carrier and was recognised by Cirium for recording the highest on-time performance among Asia-Pacific carriers in 2025. In 2026, PAL was also officially invited to join the oneworld Alliance.
